Test Build Systems

Use the standard scirun-tester account to access these systems.

Remote Deskop

Instructions for accessing Windows test machines (cibc-test3 currently) using Remote Desktop.

Windows

IP address lookup using nslookup:

 nslookup cibc-test3.sci.utah.edu

Bring up Remote Desktop connection in windows and enter the IP address or cibc-test3.sci.utah.edu and hit connect. Enter the SCIRun Tester (scirun-tester) username and password to log into the machine.


OpenSUSE

Remote desktop is available and can be accessed using rdesktop:

 rdesktop -u scirun-tester cibc-test3.sci.utah.edu

This will bring up an X session and you can enter the scirun-tester password to log into the machine.

Mac

Download and install the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac from the Microsoft website. Enter the server name(cibc-test3.sci.utah.edu) and the SCIRun Tester (scirun-tester) username and password to log into the machine.
